Spain; This recently finished accommodation is well equipped
with air-conditioning and furnished to a high standard. It sleeps
4- 6 people and comprises of two twin bedrooms, a lounge/diner
with table & four chairs, sofa bed, a luxurious bathroom and
comprehensive fitted kitchen. There is a good sized sunbathing
terrace with views overlooking the swimming pools, landscaped
areas and the Mar Menor sea.
Playa Honda is rapidly expanding and the
completion of this prestigous complex on the side of the Mar Menor
sea has added greatly to the delights of this southerly area of
the Costa Calida. The secure holiday complex offers an open air
swimming pool, heated indoor pool, gym, sauna, jacuzzi and children’s
play area all finished to an exceptionally high standard. It has
all that a family holiday requires, with the sandy beaches of
the Mar Menor alongside the complex
.For those who desire more bustle, nightlife
and action, then a short drive away is the La Manga strip, a paradise
for those who want entertainment and nightlife. Playa Honda is
also ideally situated for touring the region’s historic sites,
and also offers nearby activities that include water sports, golf,
go-karting, horse riding and tennis. We recommend the use of a
car to take full advantage of all this area has to offer.

Situated
20 minutes drive from Murcia (San Javier) airport and one hour
drive from Alicante this region favoured by many Spanish offers
a unique coastal feature called the Mar Menor. The blue lagoon
sea with crystalline waters is ideal for swimming and water sports,
and is just a 2 minute walk away from the apartment. The exclusive
resort La Manga Golf and Country Club is located next to the residential
complex, offering 3 championship courses and fabulous facilities.
There are plenty of other golf courses in the area. The exceptional
climate of this area encourages all ages and interests. Included
in the many great attractions in this area are Calblanque National
Park, the picturesque fishing village of Cabo de Palos and the
historic naval town of Cartagena. Playa Honda/Playa Paraiso offers
easy access to shops, pharmacy, restaurants and bars and a drive
away are a couple of open air discos (only open July/August) |

Notes: 5 mins walk along the beach from Playa Honda
are a couple of bars and restaurants, small supermarket and
Farmacia. Los Bolones is a village about a 5 mins drive away
where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. 20 min easy
stroll to the la manga strip where there are plenty of bars,
restaurants, supermarkets etc.
Golf Information: La Manga Club is a first class course. There
is also evening entertainment and a casino at the club. Further
information is available on other local golf courses. Transfers
to these golf courses are available and also pre booked times.
